Who Should be the NBA MVP?

This article is about who I think should be the NBA MVP. I will give you 2 runner ups and then who should win.

3. LeBron James

James has put up another great season averaging 26.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game. The only reason why he shouldn’t be MVP is because the players ahead of him on this list are players that play on a team with a bunch of average players. ┬áBut LeBron plays with Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving, and J.R Smith.

2. James Harden

Harden has put up a career year, averaging 29.5 points, 8 rebounds, and 11.3 assists per game. Harden plays on a team where he runs the team despite the fact that he is a shooting guard, not a point, yet he still puts up more assists than most point guards while still averaging nearly 30 a night. Harden has managed to lead his team to all but locking up the 3 seed in the West. Truly a leader and all around star.

MVP: Russell Westbrook

Westbrook has put up record breaking numbers with 31.2 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 10.4 assists per night. Westbrook is on pace to become the first player since Oscar Robertson to average a triple double in a season. He could also break Robertson’s record of 41 triple doubles in a season. He has taken over the Thunder since Kevin Durant left, leading them to the 6 seed and probably a hard fought playoff run.
